What Therapy Can Help With

I work with teens (13+) and adults navigating:

  • Life transitions (career, identity, relationships, major changes)

  • Relationship challenges

  • Anxiety and emotional overwhelm

  • Questions about identity, purpose, and direction

  • Substance use and behavior patterns

  • Periods of feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain

  • Masculinity and Men’s Issues

I especially enjoy working with people during times of change—both expected and unexpected.

What It’s Like to Work Together

Therapy with me is collaborative and paced around you.

Rather than rushing toward solutions, we take time to:

  • Understand what’s been shaping your experience

  • Explore what your behaviors and beliefs have been doing for you

  • Consider what you want moving forward

Over time, this often leads to a clearer sense of self, more intentional choices, and a different relationship with the challenges you’re facing.

My Professional Experience

I earned my bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Spanish from Seattle University. After graduating, I worked for three years on the Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where I facilitated skill-building groups and supported patients in moving through their daily routines in a therapeutic and structured way.

I later returned to Seattle University to complete my master’s degree in Existential Phenomenological Psychology. During my training, I completed an internship at Valley Cities, working with adults navigating a wide range of life challenges.

Since graduating in 2021, I have worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.

I have found particular meaning in working with questions of identity in many forms. Much of my work has been with individuals exploring who they are in the context of change; whether related to gender or sexuality, relationship shifts, career transitions, or evolving roles in life. I aim to create a space where all aspects of the self can be explored openly and honestly.

Outside of the Office

I’ve lived in Seattle since 2012 and, outside of the office, I try to stay connected to the things that help me feel grounded and engaged. I enjoy skiing, rock climbing, and getting out to surf when I can.

I also spend a lot of time reading, cooking, and playing games with my community. At home, I’m usually joined by my black lab, Lucy, who does her part by cleaning up anything that falls on the floor while I cook.

I also take time away when I can, as I find that stepping back helps me return to my work feeling more present, rested, and engaged with the people I work with.
